Classical Conversations, the fast-growing Christian homeschool program, will be offering a free 3-day parent practicum for parents who desire to learn more about teaching from a classical education model.
Date: July 20-22, 2009 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Garden Grove Friends Church
Address: 12211 Magnolia Street, Garden Grove, CA, 92841
The Classical Conversations parent practicum is free for adults and teens. The morning sessions will focus on Logic, the art of thinking well, and how it can be implemented in the classical homeschool. The afternoon sessions will cover the Lost Tools of Writing, by Andrew Kern.
Children may be enrolled in one of the following: Nursery (0-2 years), Play Camp (3-5 years), Geo-Drawing Camp (6-8 years) and Writing Camp (9-14 years). All children/student camps do have fees and require registration.
