Find out more about Joseph: Joe is a a former Phoenix police officer and is a nationally certified hostage negotiator. Joe trains police officers and civilians on how to de-escalate crisis situations, and lectures on workplace violence. Joe is an Arizona state certified firearms instructor and a certified Police Academy instructor. He has 19 years of experience in behavioral health and has been appointed as a subject matter expert with the Peace Officers Standards and Training Board.
