Meghan Hable was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin to study English Education, Communication, and Creative Writing. Currently she is taking classes for Medical Transcription and Coding as well as working part-time for Aurora Medical Center. Meghan has struggled with weight issues for most of her life and knows first-hand how troublesome self-image can be. She has tried numerous diets and programs over the years and is proud to reveal all she has learned about which diets do and do not work and why. Meghan hopes to extend the knowledge she has gained from her experiences to others who are facing the same weight issues. Meghan actively uses caloriecount.com, which has blogs, support groups, healthy recipes, and a daily food journal to help track caloric intake. In her free time Meghan enjoys hiking, camping, photography, and writing short stories and well as poetry.
