When Wildfire opened in Atlanta it was quite the event. It's rare to find a place with a gluten-free menu with no negative reviews about it somewhere but every review of the place I found was glowing. Wildfire goes above and beyond in the quest to safely feed their gluten-free patrons. The same can not be said of many of the large chain restaurants with gluten-free menus.

In large part, Wildfire's success is due to their Corporate Director of Training, Ruth Hayden. The Atlanta Gluten-Free Dinner Club event at Wildfire prompted Ruth to hop on a plane to be here and oversee the event. Now that is someone that is is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

My only complaint about Wildfire is that they don't serve their incredible potato dishes at lunch and they won't switch to a gluten-free flour to thicken their soups so that everyone can enjoy their crab bisque. It's not like the gluten eating patrons would know the difference. Wouldn't it be fabulous if the Atlanta Wildfire started serving the amazing gluten-free French bread, pizza crusts and buns from the Island GF Bakery in Florida? Now that would be something to celebrate!

Wildfire is part of Lettuce Entertain You which has many other restaurant brands. The following places owned by the company  in the Chicago area are happy to accommodate gluten-free customers as well.

  • Petterino's / Chicago
  • Antico Posto / Oakbrook
  • Frankie's Scaloppine  / Chicago
  • Scozzi / Chicago
  • Foodlife / Chicago
  • Mity Nice Grill  / Chicago
  • Shaws  / Chicago and Schaumburg
  • Big Bowl  / Chicago, Lincolnshire and Schaumburg
  • Ben Pao  / Chicago
