There is a new tradition that has started in Fredericksburg, called “First Friday Art Walk” which happens on the First Friday at every month.

The website notes that the numerous participating art galleries will be open until 8pm, and there will be plenty of artists as well as wine for your art viewing pleasure.

Because the first Friday in July falls on the 3rd, there is special attention to the theme of “God Bless America.”

Anyone who is familiar with Fredericksburg knows it is known for its German cuisine, art galleries, wineries, antiques, Texas Americana, and of course peaches.
