Canyon of the Eagles, a lodge located in Burnet, is offering a variety of activities this Halloween.

According to their activities schedule, the lodge is offering: “Tons of spooky fun, starting at 5 and lasting all night! Creepy Crawlers with Robert Lindsey, Scary Stories with Dennis Gaines, Costume Contest, Monster's Ball with Spooky Dave Shehane, a Halloween movie, Halloween Hikes every half hour, face painting, hayrides, food, sack races and much, much more!”

Canyon of the Eagles is a great getaway spot that has a number of hiking trails, as well as activities along Lake Buchanan. The terrain will be decorated Halloween-style, and for those looking for a night away, I recommend the stay.

The rooms are rustic but comfortable and clean, and they also have a restaurant on site.
