As golfers in Minnesota we all know that not much happens this time of year.   So as many golf fanatics before us we need to make things happen.   Since the holidays are close at hand many parties will be going on.   Here are some fun golf themed parties you can throw any time of year.

The 18 hole party is when you serve a different drink that represents a golf hole.   You can do it numerically or use a famous golf course where they name all the holes of the course.   You should start out with a Shirley Temple and then you can finish it off with a shot of tequila if anyone makes it that far.

Throw a Masters party in the grand tradition and serve cheese and pimento sandwiches and Arnold Palmer drinks (lemonade and ice tea).   The have a putting green that you can buy at any golf retail store and have a putting contest for presents that people can bring.

Whatever the party stay safe and have fun this year.
