Grocery coupons are one of the easiest ways for every family to save money on groceries. SAHMs have no excuse for not clipping or finding printable grocery coupons online. It's so easy and can be done in just a few minutes - if you know the best grocery coupon sites.  If you decide to go searching online for free grocery coupons, you don't have to give out all your personal information or fill out surveys to get coupons. Some of the best coupon sites don't even require you to register. You will, however, have to quickly install a coupon printing program.

Before you start handing out coupons on full price items, get even more value out of coupons by pairing them with store sales and club card savings. Here are a few tips.

  • Read the grocery store circulars online before you go!

  • Base your weekly menu (yes, this requires a little planning) around what's on sale. Click here for five family-friendly fast meals.
  • Make brand substitutions based on coupons and sales.
  • Be willing to shop at more than one grocery store to get the best deals and the greatest savings. But be sure to weigh the time commitment vs the savings. If you're only going get one item for a savings of $1, the separate trip probably isn't worth it. But if chicken breast is a staple in your house and it's buy one get one free at the other store, it's worth the trip..
  • The key is knowing how to clip coupons to save the most money. Clipping a coupon just because it's a good deal will only end up hijacking your grocery budget.
