Now the rest of the Christian church is catching on, as well.  It is no longer an argument over whether the Sabbath is Saturday or Sunday, but about making space for God in a modern world where schedules are no longer dictated by a traditional work week and weekend.

In a major metropolis like Los Angeles, churches are building believers (and numbers) by offering an alternative to Sunday worship.

These Saturday night worship services vary depending on denomination and church affiliation. Some are "contemporary" offshoots of more traditional congregations, others are a response to the growth concerns or the needs of a community and congregants who do not have traditional schedules.
