Many woman who wear foundation have no idea that every makeup bag should have two foundation colors. You need a color for summer and one for winter. During the months of summer most of us tan so your foundation should be one to two shades darker than your natural skin complexion. During winter months your natural skin complexion is lighter. In this case, buy your foundation in the shade closest to your actual skin complexion.

How do you pick the right color to avoid buying the wrong shade? I recommend that you visit your local makeup counter and sit down with an experienced makeup artist and buy only the shade during that time of year. During the opposite time of year revisit them for your second shade of foundation. Taking these steps will save you money, time and the embarrassment from wearing the wrong color foundation.

For more beauty advice feel free to contact me or your local beauty expert.

Until next time,
