I shop for my son who is a very stylish preteen. The problem is that the jeans that I buy for him fit but they’re always too long. I can buy him a pair one week and in two weeks a huge whole is at the bottom of his jeans. I can’t afford to buy new jeans every other week. What am I doing wrong? Margaret - Adelphi, MD.
Jeans should not be cuffed nor have breakage if bought in the correct length. Whenever you shop for jeans always look for the length of the jeans. For example if your waist is 28 and you’re average in height try 28x30 or 28x32 until you get it right. I also suggest that you take your son with you from now on until you get his waist/length size down to a science.
