Whether your everyday travel is by car or metro transit, coats are the number one investment piece for your winter wardrobe. Some people get scared at the word investment and see big dollar signs. When I say to invest in your winter coat(s) it simply means that it should be of great quality, stylish (to go with many looks) and well tailored. Your coat should not be bulky nor oversized, it should compliment your ensemble and fall over it effortlessly. If not, it’s either too big, too small or the wrong cut for your body shape. Never buy a coat because it looks great in the store window, on the rack or on someone else. Always try your coat on and size it up (back and front) in a full length mirror before making the purchase. If possible your wardrobe should consist of at the least 4 coats: 1.Black 2.Neutral Color 3.Print 4.Your best color.
