I work in a very strict environment where it is a must to dress professional. However, I am bored with the everyday white blouse and black pant “dress code“. My style is chic but I feel myself leaning towards Avant Garde. How can I wear this style successfully at the workplace?   Adrianna - Sterling, VA.

To wear such a strong and bold look in the workplace can make or break you so be careful. I have a few tips to make this a successful change of wardrobe. TIPS: 1. When it comes to wearing your makeup opt for a clean eye with a bold lip or a nude smokey eye and a matte lip. 2. When it comes to your wardrobe instead of wearing the huge shoulder pad looks opt for tops and jackets with clean lines and great structure. 3. When it comes to your accessories you can be very bold but opt for metal looks with great structure.
