I’m not a tall woman, I’m 5’5 with a slim physique. I wore a rather short pencil skirt to work and the people in my office looked at me as though I was an alien the entire day. The skirt hit just below my thighs, was this too short for the office or am I surrounded by idiots? This email came from Rebecca of Towson, MD. Some women who are of short stature believe that they can get away with wearing shorter skirts than the average or taller female and they’re right. The only exception is when it comes to dressing for the office. Office attire is so much different than what anyone can get away with on a casual day with friends and family. Keep it professional and wear a skirt no matter the style at a just above or just below the knee length. If you want to liven up your office attire, in this case your skirts I suggest a great print. You will look stylish and professional and this time if they stare you will feel comfortable knowing that you look great.
