Before I go any further, stop penciling in your brows whether to fill it in or to create a brow. For years I have been using the wrong method to create my brows as I have always struggled with having little to no eyebrows. So now experienced, I will give you tips and advice on how to create a softer more natural looking brow using a product that I’ve overlooked for nearly 15 years, Brow Defining Powder. The best way to achieve this look is to use it with a small angled brow or eyeliner brush. Using this method will eliminate the harsh look of an eyeliner pencil and it gives you such great confidence because you no longer have that penciled eyebrow look. For people that have eyebrows and you just want to fill in your brow follow these tips: First, find your shade of Brow Defining Powder. Second, using a sturdy eyebrow brush, brush your brows starting from the inner eye outward to shape your brow before applying the Brow Defining Powder. Third, using the angle of a small angled eyeliner brush, apply a small amount of Brow Powder to the bottom of your eyebrow to create the outline of your brow. Fourth, using the same brush repeat the first step for above your brow. Last, using the actual brush part of the small angled brush, do light sweeps from the bottom up starting from the inner eye outward to fill in your brow. This method will create an even soft look. For people who have little to no brow follow these tips: First, find your shade of Brow Defining Powder. Second, apply a little bit of concealer just to the area of where you will create your brow. Third, follow steps 3 to the last seen above. NOTE: What the concealer does is to help in locking in the brow powder to avoid it from smudging. Always remember to clean up any unsightly eyebrows before applying the steps. Don’t worry about switching from pencil to powder because the brow powder has more staying power and it is less likely to smudge unlike an eyeliner pencil. I say leave the dramatic look of a penciled brow to the runway. 1.Brow Defining Powder, Ardell 2.Small Angled Eyeliner Brush, Sephora 3.Dual Head Eyebrow Brush Until next time, Live Well & Live Fabulous!
