It’s time to address a serious pet peeve of mine, Under Eye Bags and Dark Circles. Yuk! I don’t care who you are man, woman, young and old, no one wants them and everyone wants to get rid of the problem. Through research trial and error, I have found a few favorites used to help and eliminate the problem. They are very effective and worth investing your time and money in because they absolutely work!

I do makeup so I know that most people who are uneducated in makeup 101, tend to appIy their makeup without protecting their skin first. This is an absolute no no. I find that people notice the problem in it’s early stages but do absolutely nothing about it. When I ask my clients or people in general why haven’t they treated the problem right away, they either say I don’t know or I don’t know what products to trust. Well to all those left in the dark I’m here to shed some light, a bright light.

First, unless you want to add to your problem of bags under your eyes, stop using your fingers to apply your concealer and in this case your under eye cream. The best way to get great coverage and to apply light weight to your eye is to use a concealer or foundation brush.

Second, ALWAYS apply your under eye cream before you apply any makeup under and above your eye. Also, by all means clean your skin before bed and apply a second application of under eye cream above and under your eye. You will get the most out of your product and eliminate your problem when following these easy steps. The worse thing that I’ve heard is a person tell me that they stop using their under eye cream once the problem goes away or lessens. This is a HUGE no no! If you do not want the problem to resurface you have to continue using your under eye cream. This is an ongoing eye regimen and I can not say enough that you must take care of your body and your skin for the rest of your life so INVEST in it!

Third, I find that drinking a quality Green Tea is great for its health benefits, and if you put the tea bag in the refrigerator after using, you can later use it to depuff under eye bags. I believe that the antioxidants and/or caffeine in the Green Tea also aide in removing dark circles and wrinkles too because I always see a major difference whenever I do this. It’s simply Amazing!

Note: Depending on your age your beauty consultant will advise you of the strength of Under Eye Cream to buy. I advise that you do not skip this step. This will avoid you wasting money and just simply using the wrong product for your individual need.

The best brush hair to use is a quality synthetic or goat hair brush as these brushes are great when using liquid or cream products to get the best coverage. The brand name products listed below are in my opinion best at effectiveness for the purpose and they are trusted brand names.

You can purchase the items above online and at any fine department store or local drug store.

1.Lancome Renergie Eye, $60 2.Clarins Serum Super Lift, $58 3.MAC 190 Foundation Brush, $32 4.CVS Essence of Beauty Foundation Brush $10.49 5.MAC 194 Concealer Brush, $18.50 6.CVS Essence of Beauty Conceal Brush, $4.49 7.Lipton Green Tea, $4.29

Until next time,

Live Well & Live Fabulous!

Leslie
