A few Christmas Party looks.

Forget about wearing the typical red and green to your Christmas Party this year. This year go against the traditional for a more fabulous look. Now is the time to look in the back of your closet or go shopping for a gorgeous jeweled tone cocktail dress. I know it will be cold outside but it’s your Christmas Party so you can get away with wearing strappy or open toe stiletto’s (make sure that you wear stockings). While most will look traditional at your Christmas Party, I want you to arrive looking and feeling absolutely amazing!

If you do decide to wear red or green, challenge yourself to not have red or green as the main color of your dress. If you have your mind made up that you must wear the traditional red or green just make sure the cut of the dress is stunning. Also, be careful not to look tacky and tasteless with common mistakes like having too many colors in your dress or your dress being too short or too long. Be mindful that this is not a “Red Carpet” moment and it’s not the club.

Wear striking pulled back hair looks and play up your makeup with a smokey eye and matte or glossy mute lip.

MEN, wear a button up or a gorgeous cardigan paired with flat front tailored slacks, a thin leather belt and compliment with a striking pair of almond toe ankle boot or slip on.

You can find any of the looks in the layout at any fine department store or fashion boutique.
