What are signs that a guy likes you?
The signs that a guy likes you, in this day and age when a lot of people are either guarded or exhibitionist, has to come from the things he might do unconsciously.
Some unconscious actions and gestures a guy might give in the presence of the object of his affection--along with sweaty palms, nervousness, inability to make or hold eye contact, blushing—are:
- Leaning in toward you.
- Grooming, like adjusting his clothes or hair (some pulling up his socks is the biggest grooming tip-off…)
- Standing with his fingers stuck in his belt.
- Pointing his feet toward you.
- Looking for you in a crowd.
- Arching his eyebrows when he talks to you.
- Teasing. While he teases you, his friends will be teasing him!
- Touching his face.
- Tilting his head toward you.
- Smiling.
- Joking around
- Talking about himself—this is often a nervous auto-response. Check to see if talks about himself to everyone—or just to you.
- Mirroring your behavior: You play with a straw; he plays with a straw, like in Follow the Fleet with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers..
- Touching your belongings, like playing with your purse.
- When he talks to other people, he keeps looking over at you.
