McLean Day: A carnival tradition
In the mood for a carnival? Who isn't? It's that season again! Head out to Lewinsville Park in McLean for a day filled with great old-fashioned fun, sponsored by the
McLean Community Center. Rides, carnival games, main stage entertainment, pony rides, every kind of wonderful carnival food you can imagine, local pols, and all kinds of vendors (tie-dye, art, clothing, etc.). And, don't forget to vote for your favorite candidate for the McLean Community Center Governing Board (for residents of McLean). There'll be shuttle busses, and the event occurs rain or shine. Kick the summer off with this wonderful annual tradition dating back to 1915. Easy to get to, and loads of fun.
This year's entertainment is also better than ever. Performances by Rocknoceros, band Fools and Horses, physical comedy of Mutts Gone Nutts, dance performances by Joy of Dance, among others. Visit the MCC website for performance times.
The fun runs from 11am-5pm, rain or shine.
