Portland Farmers Markets are a must see and do while in Portland metro area. The best place to buy local fruits and vegetables in season. Great place to people watch too. July 10th – Flicks on the Bricks outdoor movies start at Pioneer Square. Starts at Dusk. Grab the popcorn! This week’s feature Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Free to Public
July 11th- 8th Annual Mississippi Street Fair: Activities take place from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm between N. Fremont and N. Skidmore. Local markets, food vendors, salted ice cream, craft beer and wine tastings, live entertainment and children’s parade. Located in one of Portland most unique neighborhoods. Free to the public.
July 11th- Bastille Day in the Pearl: Located at Jamison Park in the Pearl district, this fun event features the best of French wine, food, and art along with the Portland Waiters Race (starts at 2:00pm) from 12:00noon to 8:00pm. Free to the public.
July 11th and 12th Hood River Fruit Loop Cherries Celebration: Join the Hood River Fruit Loop as they celebrate the beloved cherry. U Pick farms, jams, jellies, and other yummy delights. Free to the public.
July 12th – Pickin’On Sundays at the Doug Fir Lounge on E. Burnside. This week artists are Pete Krebs and Casey Neill. From 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Good food, great music. Free to the public.
