Find out more about Maria: Maria's journey with yoga began 9 years ago when she was introduced to yoga at the local gym. It was within a year after that initial class, that she returned to the mat and began a daily yoga practice. Maria loved the way yoga made her body and mind feel; strong and at ease. In the fall of 2004, she enrolled in a yoga teacher training program with master teacher, Ana Forrest and became certified by Forrest Yoga in 2006. Puma also carries certifications in Relax and Renew (Restorative Yoga) with Judith Hanson Lasater and Prenatal Yoga/Conscious Birthing with Janice Clarfield. Maria has assisted in weekend workshops with Ana Forrest and week long Prenatal teacher training programs with Janice Clarfield, 2008 and 2009. On her journey Puma has had the opportunity to study with many master teachers including Rolf Gates, Simon Park, Johnny Kest, Manju Jois, Elise Miller and others.
