Leggings designer Lindsay Lohan was pelted by Peta in Paris Saturday for wearing a fur item.
The movie-star was defended via her rumored girlfriend Samantha Ronson's blog.
Ronson wrote "I'm p****d at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person." She also said. "When was the last time you saw an animal attack one of its own in defense of a human?"
That last line is what is hilarious to me because don't dogs protect their owners from other dogs? I know mine growl at other people and dogs when they come near.
Anyway, celebrities should know that if they wear fur, they're going to be "victimized" by groups like Peta. Flouring and throwing paint on celebrity fur admirers is a great way to get their cause in the news. If I got paint thrown on me, the most people would hear about it would be examiner.com readers, friends, or my blog readers.
It seems like a pretty harmless stunt, maybe she should've apologized for offending anyone with her fur and moved on, rather than have Ronson type out a blog about it.
Dust off Lindsay and be glad I'm not writing about your remark referring to President-elect Barack Obama as our "first colored president."
