A heads up to any Playstation 3 owners who are anxiously awaiting the release of Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (and that should be all of you): the multiplayer demo is now available to download from PSN by anyone and everyone--no more closed betas or preorder exclusive periods.

The latest demo offers four maps, several competitive modes, and two co-operative modes making it quite a robust package for a free demo.  A taste of Uncharted 2's Cinema mode, which allows players to record their matches, is also included.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be released exclusively for PS3 in only a couple of weeks, on October 13.  It's has garnered glowing reviews thus far and promises to give Playstation 3 owners one of the best reasons to own the system since, well, the original Uncharted.
