It seems that Bungie has given the world an unintentional preview of their next full-fledged Halo title, Halo: Reach. Someone, presumably from within the company, has posted blurry off-screen photos of what appears to be Halo: Reach.
The photos appear to provide our first glimpses of Reach's single-player campaign, in addition to a menu of some kind. Some elements that can be clearly made out are weapons such as the Spartan laser, a slightly different battle rifle, and what appears to be a new needler-based heavy weapon. Based on the shots, Bungie is clearly still in the relatively early stages of development. Halo: Reach will use a brand-new engine, which explains its currently rough graphical stage as exhibited by these shots.
As is typical with these sorts of leaks, the image quality is not great, and there's no actual information to confirm or deny what might be inferred from the images. Still, at least we now have something for fanboys to speculate from and debate about until Bungie decides to officially show the title to the public.
