When I think of baseball I think of two things; a messy hot dog and an ice cold beverage. If you are having guests over this evening to watch the All Star Game, you may consider playing a game of your own while the American League is busy winning the game. Beer games are about as American as apple pie, and will be sure keep your party moving.

FLIP CUP

Supplies:
Long table
Plastic keg cups
Beer

How to Play:
Start by lining everyone up on opposite sides of the table. If there are more than 10 people total at the party, create teams and have a tournament. Everyone should have a full beer sitting at the edge of the table in front of them.

The two people on the end of the table start by drinking the beer as fast as they can. As soon as they finish, they set the cup back down at the edge of the table, with the edge halfway off. They must use the back of their hand to flip the cup into the air.

They must keep flipping until the cup lands upside down on the table. After the player’s cup lands on the table, the player next to them can start to drink and then flip. The team whose players finish first wins.

Baseball just isn’t complete without a greasy messy hot dog, right? Food Network’s Bobby Flay is the master of the grill, and has an easy recipe to fill your hungry friends. His Take me out to the ballgame menu is sure to be a real crowd pleaser.

Go American League!
