Fogo de Chao is a fantastic Brazilian steakhouse with several locations, and their newest location is in Denver! The food is amazing, and most of it is gluten-free. The full dinner includes the amazing salad bar, which has toppings like fresh mozzarella cheese and veggies. The meat is served gaucho style, on skewers that the servers bring to the table when you flip the round card to green. When you have a full plate you flip the card to red so they will pass by your table.
The table bread is naturally gluten-free, made with a yucca flour. The texture is like a soft chebe roll, very light and yummy.
The meats are delicious and most are gluten-free. The only questionable meats are chicken wings that are basted in beer. While some do not worry about cooking with alcohol (because the alcohol "cooks out") it is still best to avoid marinades and sauces made with alcohol because the gluten content is unknown.
The sides include a fried polenta cake, caramelized bananas, and garlic mashed potatoes, all of which are delicious and gluten-free! They are replaced as the table finishes them and kept warm and fresh.
The flan is a gluten-free dessert option, as is the ice cream.
Note: Fogo de Chao is fine dining. Lunch is $24.50, dinner is $38.50. The salad bar, meat, sides, and bread is "all you can eat" and comes around continuously.
