At first East Dallas artist Juli H assumed little green aliens arrived in her back yard and planted little round flat mosaic space ships to litter her back yard like stepping stones. Then little flat square mosaic space ships arrived and multiplied.

Concerned the space ships would soon stand up like statues on Easter Island, Juli examined them for clues. Most of the tiles covering the ships looked like tiles from her mosaic studio. Tape measure in hand, Julie measured the paw print space ship. Both of her darling puppy dogs ran when she turned to them. Guilty.

So proud her doggies have an interest in her art, Juli turned her greenhouse into a studio for her dogs. They now offer mosaic workshops, slide shows and power point programs for neighbors, other dogs and one cat. The large koi in the fish pond live in mortal fear of glue, tile and grout on their person if they ever stop moving.
