Debuting this past June on E!, Kendra, the newest reality TV show featuring a happy couple who will attempt to beat the odds and actually stay together. Kendra follows the lives of Kendra Wilkinson (former Playboy Playmate and Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend) and her Philadelphia Eagles fiance Hank Baskett.
On June 10, the couple announced they were expecting a child (due Christmas day) and tied the knot on June 27th. The wedding will be featured in an upcoming episode, taking place at the Playboy Mansion and her former Girls Next Door costars (Holly Madison & Bridget Marquardt) served as bridesmaids.
Kendra and Hank have a tough road ahead considering several reality TV couples separated after their series ended. Below are a few that couldn't't cut it.
Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The show followed husband and wife Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson as they adjusted to life as a married couple while juggling their careers as musicians. The couple was married on October 26, 2002 and their divorce was finalized on June 30, 2006.
'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave. The show followed the lives of Carmen Electra (Playboy/Actress) and Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) on the events leading up to their wedding day. The couple was married from November 22, 2004 to February 20, 2007.
Having cameras, a production team and fans constantly around certainly played a part in the separation and eventual divorce of these couples. Hopefully Kendra and Hank can handle the spotlight and make the marriage work!
