They say real recognizes real... and so it is with the historic Stax Records union with the sassy N'dambi. With smooth vocals, provocative lyrics, and soul as thick as blackstrap molasses, N'dambi's Pink Elephant, is a refreshing, 'expiration-date' free gumbo in a sea of otherwise 'half-baked' commercially contrive 'googely gob' with month long (at best) shelf life.
As record companies clamor to stay relevant in the rapidly ascending world-wide web take-over, Stax Recording has come up with a novel approach... good music! N'dambi's sultry sound has been said by many to channel the sound of luminaries like Nina Simone, and Chaka Khan, and with comparisons like that, I'm just going to say, 'nuff said.' Pink Elephant is in stores now, and the album's lead single, 'Can't Hardly Wait' is a brew of soulful sarcasm, as evidenced by the song's opening line, 'I don't know why I keep f*@#in' wit' you...
Not one to settle for mediocrity, N'dambi took time to tell me the 5 keys to a man preserving, or (in most cases) finding his sexy...
