Hollywood movie-goers fill theaters every weekend allowing all the summer blockbuster films to blow out the box office, however there is a weekly crowd of dedicated cult-classic lovers that fill the lawns of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery every Saturday (and occasionally Sunday) night during these summer months. Patrons of the graveyard cinema bring blankets, lawn chairs, wine and snacks and all hoard into the cemetery for their favorite weekend screening. Whether it's a love for Jaws, Rear Window or even The Muppet Movie, Hollywood locals love their morbidly mannered viewings. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery is a unique experience. They offer special services like no other cemetery in the world. For example, their Funeral chapel is equipped for live worldwide web-casts of funeral services allowing family and friends across the globe to appreciate the service. "Hollywood Forever offers more than you expect from a funeral home and cemetery."

Besides their summer movie screenings and unique funeral services, every year on November 1st, the cemetery opens its gates to celebrate LA's Day of the Dead Festival (El Dia de los Muertos). Row after row of highly decorative alters flourish the grounds as colorful characters admire each station. Live music can be heard all around and the smells of authentic Mexican food fill your nostrils as every one of your senses are enlightened. Los Angeles residents pour into the event year after year to celebrate loved ones passed and enjoy a day of deadly festivities.
