October is always a great time to be in Las Vegas; the temperature has taken a tumble, traffic is less congested and fall is in the air. And we know what that means. Halloween isn’t so far away.  Some marketing experts say that the Halloween season is second only to that of Christmas for the amount of decorations and goodies purchased. Trick or Treat? Candy corn, marshmallow skeletons, and caramel apples for the night when the veil is supposedly parted.

At the Clark County Library District it's all treats. On October 3rd I will be doing a Haunted Nevada presentation at the W. Charleston Library  as part of the Clark County Library District's Explore the Unknown A Month of Mystery event.

On October 8th enjoy a supernatural evening with authors Sarah Langdon (The Missing,) Alexandra Sokoloff (The Unseen,) and Rhodi Hawk (A Twisted Ladder)

Find out what all those lines in your palm really mean on October 17th. Professional intuitive Suzie Rae presents the ancient art of palmistry.

The W. Charleston Library's Mystic Fair scheduled for October 24th from 10AM to 3PM. Learn about the Mayan Calendar, the Divine story of your name and see photos by expert aura photographer Regina Murphy.

The frost may not be on the pumpkin in Las Vegas, but there's no shortage of spooky fun at the Clark County libraries.
