“Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.”
While the three witches in ‘Macbeth’ certainly knew their ingredients on how to make a hell-broth, instead I’ve got a list of some witch-y reading. (No hell-broth recipes at this time.)
Happy reading! Try not to spook yourself too much!
