Saving money by cutting the cost of your beauty products is smart. However there are a few things that are good money investments for every woman.

The first, and most important, is a daily, high SPF sunscreen for your faceAveeno, one of numerous brands currently on the market, makes a product called Positively Radiant that is not only SPF 30, but also evens out skin tone and texture. At around $15.00 for a 2.5 ounce bottle, it's a wise investment in the beauty and health of your skin.

The second thing that should never be scrimped on is a hair straightener. If you currently own a cheap hair straightener, throw it away! Put your money in a high quality straightener like GHD (Good Hair Days) . Your hair will be easier to style. You will spend less time in the morning getting it "to look right". Your hair will look better and you will feel more confident. (Plus, a great quality hair straightener will last a long time!)

The third thing, also involves hair care.  Have your hair trimmed at least every eight weeks (six weeks is better). Nothing will wear you down like limp, unmanageable hair. A cute, up to date hairstyle makes any woman appear younger and more attractive. Not to mention the way it will make you feel! (Choose your stylist carefully and use the same stylist each time to avoid hair disasters).

The fourth, and final thing,  is a nice handbag. Buying a good quality hand bag will help you to avoid the constant temptation to pick up a new bag. There is no substitute for a well made hand bag. The smart way to shop for a handbag is to go to outlets which can be up to 75% off retail. Also, shop for your bag off season (In other words, shop for a black handbag in May and a pastel bag in October).

If you're a smart and frugal shopper, you'll be able to locate fantastic deals on most of the expensive items you need to be stylish.
