Cuppielove, Kiss my Bundt, Pacific Whey, Little Laura's Sweets, Buttercake, Polkatots, Hotcakes and French's Delilah Bakery are among the top Southern California bakeries who will be showcasing their best traditional and most original cupcakes for sampling at the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood & Highland (www.renaissancehollywood.com) between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The Renaissance has revealed their special entry -- a Lemon Chiffon cupcake with blueberry compote and mascarpone icing, so expect an array of surprises.

Tickets are $40 per person, so polish up that sweet tooth and get ready to experience a sugar high at The Nesquik Cupcake Challenge.
