We predict that blood orange will become the "it" flavor this holiday season, thanks to such creative new beverage entries into the marketplace as Rubyy Blood Orange Lightly Carbonated Energy Drink (www.Rubyy.com).

Inside the very sleek metallic container that looks like something out of a "James Bond" movie, is a luscious and exotic blend of blood orange, Valencia orange and tangerine juices. It's a distinctive flavor combination, kicked up a notch with a mild jolt of caffeine.

Not only does Rubyy make your tastebuds dance with great refreshing flavor, it does your body good -- infused with vitamins B-3, B-5, B-6, B-7 and B-12, at a slim 130 calories.  We've tried it neat, over crushed ice garnished with a sprig of mint and even mixed it with vodka for a holiday cocktail and all presentations were winners.

The Los Angeles-based Rubyy is currently available at more than 40 locations throughout the area, including Famima stores (www.famima-usa.com) , Pink Dot (www.pinkdot.com)  and the Cafe at Fred Segal (www.cafeatfredsegal.com) .  You can even reuse the refillable bottle, featuring a logo that glows in black light!  Rubyy would make great holiday party favors as well as great conversation starters for your party.

Have you experienced "Pandamonium" yet? Panda Express restaurants (www.pandaexpress.com) are the perfect lunchtime solution when you want something fresh and tasty yet don't have a lot of time or a large budget. Their gift cards are great for Holiday gift season (gifting someone with $8.88 worth brings very good luck)  and don't forget that Chinese New Year is just around the corner!

Until our next food find...may all your food finds be fabulous!
