Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney engaged

Jason Mesnick got down on one knee to propose marriage to Molly Malaney in New Zealand last week. New Zealand was where The Bachelor finale was originally filmed last year.

Regarding the location, a source close to the newly engaged couple says,

“Jason can do what he should have done in the last time he was here, and ask Molly to marry him,”

Jason Mesnick was on the reality dating show The Bachelor this past spring. Jason chose to propose to Melissa Rycroft (Dancing With the Stars) at the season's finale but on the show's After The Final Rose special he changed his mind and retracted the engagement opting to ask Molly Malaney (runner-up on the Bachelor) for a second chance. Molly looked surprised at his actions but she ultimately agreed to let their romance continue.
