Before you put up the boat for winter you might want to head to some of central Texas area dams. This time of year slow trolling for white bass can produce a limit every trip. Bait-fish hold up in the deeper waters next to the damn and the white bass are not far away. The cooling waters bunch the fish together and once located can provide for some fast action.

This weekend the weather is perfect for a last trip on the water before hunting season kicks in. Deep water around large boat slips is also a good bet for suspended fish.

Use live minnows under lights at night for a more laid back catch up with your buddies outing. Either way it is too nice to stay inside so gas up the boat and hit the water one more time before old man winter and deer fever shows up.
