MTV.com - Kristin letting Audrina and Stephanie know how it is
On Tuesday night’s season premiere of The Hills, Laguna Beach alum, Kristin Cavallari graced the group with her presence and she really shook things up in just one episode, mostly amongst the girls. Audrina who had never met Kristin was completely intimated by the stories Stephanie and Lo told her about Kristin. However, Audrina decided that she would give Kristin the benefit of the doubt, because she had not even met her yet.
Audrina’s opinion changed real fast when Heidi and Spencer hosted a party for themselves and invited their very own matchmaker, Kristin. When Kristin entered the party last with her entourage, the whispering began among the girls. She said her hellos to everyone she knew and gave her ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner an especially special hello. It turned out Audrina was not the only one worried about Kristin’s arrival because Brody’s girlfriend, Jayde Nicole began to throw her fair share of dirty looks towards her. After all of her hellos, she was introduced to Audrina’s ex, the infamous Justin Bobby. Right away, Kristin and Justin hit it off, which oddly, was completely predicted by Spencer. Stephanie did not like this one bit, and bee lined it for Kristin to give her a piece of her mind. Two minutes into Kristin’s arrival at the party, she was already on the verge of a cat-fight with former Hills bad girl, Stephanie. Stephanie was only sticking up for Audrina, its girl-code not to flirt with a girl’s ex. Kristin felt it was completely uncalled for and told both Stephanie and Audrina that Justin was a big boy and if Audrina had a problem with it, Audrina could tell her. She did not need Stephanie yapping in her face. Kristin said if that’s how it’s going to be, that’s how it’s going to be, ITS ON!
After celebrating their marriage with their friends, Heidi and Spencer decided to go house hunting for their newlywed starter home. Heidi fell in love with the first home they visited from the red front door to the room that the realtor said could eventually be a nursery one day. Donning a cowboy hat and jeans tucked into his boots, Spencer changed the subject real quick, upsetting Heidi and left the house. Later in the episode, they visited another house that Heidi explained as being too Hollywood Party house like and she had really hoped to start their family in the suburbs. Spencer described to Heidi that the house was suburbs with an edge. And it was too late to decide and she would need to compromise because, SURPRISE, he already put a down payment on the house. First upset, Heidi quickly changed her opinion on the house and began to pick out small things she liked and could like. It was her job as a wife is to keep her husband happy.
Meanwhile, the rest of the crew went out to celebrate Brody’s bff, Frankie Delgado’s birthday. The whole crew attended, but Audrina. She wanted to avoid any further confrontation with Kristin. On the other hand, Lo and Stephanie still attended but were completely shocked when Kristin blew them off. So disturbed by this and the obnoxious flirting between Justin and Kristin, Stephanie and Lo decide not to continue with the party to the next spot. The party moved on and Kristin and Justin continued to get closer. When Kristin appeared to be intrigued by his motorcycle and later divulged that she had a very comfy bed, they planned another date to meet up.
The following evening Kristin met Justin for dinner, but admitted that she thought twice about coming because of Audrina. She slightly felt guilty because she could tell Audrina still really liked him and perhaps was even in love with him. Although, it did not take long for Kristin to forget about Audrina, because Justin admitted that his relationship with Audrina was never really official. Kristin was now ready for a spin on Justin’s motorcycle!
