Kelly Cutrone of People’s Revolution announced the next project to her two go-to employees, Roxy and Whitney. They would be working with Elle Magazine at a charity event, hosted by Longchamp. They would be working for the charity, KiptonART Foundation. Whitney was excited because she would have the chance to work with her old colleague, Olivia, again.

The Elle Magazine event did not keep their attention too long before Whitney started to admit to Roxy that her ex-boyfriend, Jay had been texting her and calling her lately. She was a little concerned because the last time that Jay was in town they had hooked up and she was afraid that he expected that to happen, again. She said that ‘I did it, and then I quit it.’ Whitney wanted to put the past behind, but she thought that she owed Jay an explanation. Roxy completely disagreed; it did not matter anymore because she was with new guy, Freddie now.

Back at Elle, Erin also explained the new project to Olivia and how they would be working with People’s Revolution. When she told Olivia the event was to raise money for the KiptonART Foundation; Olivia mentioned that she was friends with the founder Kipton Cronkite and she would probably run into some former colleagues. Erin started to explain to Olivia that she would be instructing the photographer what to do and what to take pictures of; they were looking for some great pictures. As Erin was explaining that to Olivia; Olivia interrupted with a smirk and said ‘so it’s a cocktail party.’

That evening Whitney headed to Yoga class with pal, Samantha. Whitney started telling Samantha all about Jay and how he had been contacting her. She wondered if Jay found out that she brought new boy, Freddie to Jay’s apartment. She told Samantha how she felt she needed to talk to him, but just like Roxy, she disagreed. She felt that was not fair to new boy, Freddie. With a smile Whitney then told Samantha how Freddie was taking her out on a fancy date that night.

Later that night, Whitney was meeting Freddie for dinner, but little did she know that she would be eating with Freddie and his father, Fridolin Fackelmayer. Before Whitney arrived Freddie and his father were talking about how he has not introduced a girl to his parents in a long time, and he was sorry that his mother could not make it. This dinner would be a dry run for the meeting with his mother. Freddie also mentioned to his father, that Whitney did not know that she would be meeting him tonight. When Whitney arrived Freddie introduced her to his father. They immediately began talking about what they do for a living. Freddie’s father is in finance and after Whitney explained what she did and how hard it was to get funding for her line; Freddie’s father said it was silly for companies to throw money at a start-up company, right now. The awkward conversation continued a little longer but then Freddie’s father decided to get up and leave early. After his father left, Freddie told Whitney, that was awkward, and she agreed. However, she was more curious on how soon he usually introduces girls to his parents, because that was too soon.

The next day Olivia and Erin arrive at the Longchamp store, for a walk through for the KiptonART event. Whitney and Roxy also arrive so Erin can explain to them what would be going on and what they would be doing. Erin told Roxy that she will be directing the photographer and since Olivia will know a lot of people, she could help her out. Erin let it be known that if they had any questions they could come to her. Olivia chimed in and said that they could come to her, too.

That night the girls were getting ready and Whitney told Roxy that Freddie would be in attendance at the event. She also told Roxy all about her awkward dinner with Freddie and his father. Whitney compared Freddie’s family to Jay’s family and how different they were. She told Roxy how Jay warned her to never date an uptown guy. She also thought it would be interesting to see how Freddy and Olivia acted around each other because they have known each other for a long time.

When the event finally begun, Whitney and Roxy stood with Kelly and watched Freddie enter. Kelly insisted that she should wait for him to come to them, but when she saw Freddie standing by himself, she took Roxy over to meet him. Once they were introduced, Roxy walked away and Freddie quickly apologized to Whitney for the surprise dinner with his dad the night before.

Roxy had made her way over to Olivia, so she could introduce her to the photographer. Once Olivia introduced them, she walked away; she did not give Roxy any instructions like Erin had asked her to, earlier that day. Roxy worked her way to through the party, but by the end she had become very upset and told Erin that Olivia was no help at all. Erin assured Roxy that if she does not work as a team player then she may no longer be employed at Elle.

The complaining about Olivia continued into the next morning back at Whitney’s apartment. Roxy could not believe how bad it was to work with Olivia. In agreement, Whitney said she wondered sometimes how she even kept jobs. Whitney then told Roxy how Freddie had apologized for the dinner, but Roxy felt that there was something about Freddie she did not like. Whitney thought she might be judging Freddie because he grew up with Olivia, but she said they are not the same. Despite her two friends advice, Whitney then admitted that she was going out that evening to meet up with her ex, Jay for drinks.

That same morning back at Elle, Erin confronted Olivia about the situation with Roxy and the photographer, but Olivia quickly snapped back that she was not in PR and that the photographer was Roxy’s responsibility. She also told Erin, just like most people at the party, she knew the photographer and she completely trusted him. Erin continued to explain to Olivia that she could have used some of her connections to help out Roxy. She was also concerned on how Elle might look when they collaborate with other companies. Erin did not want Elle to look bad if they were to ever to collaborate, again. Olivia said this was obviously Roxy’s problem and that Roxy would have to just deal with it.

That night Whitney finally met up with Jay to smooth things over. They began talking about how they were both busy with their work, Whitney with her new clothing line and Jay with his new record. Before Whitney could even tell Jay about Freddie, he said he heard that she brought a guy to his apartment. So Whitney told him that she did meet someone while he was gone and it probably was not right that she brought Freddie to Jay’s. After Whitney told Jay about Freddie, he said that she should be careful. He runs in the same circles as Olivia. Whitney explained that she was happy, but Jay was not too sure about him. He told her to be careful and obviously upset, he quickly got up and left, leaving Whitney alone at the restaurant.
