Joe from Elle met with Erin after the Today Show segment Erin and Olivia had put together, last week. Erin expressed how highly disappointed she was in what Olivia had to offer. Erin began to tell Joe how Olivia threw a fit, but before she could finish Joe interrupted her. He said that he still thought that Olivia had potential and it was Erin’s job to make it work.
At People’s Revolution, Roxy had arrived for her first day and Whitney was already there when Roxy arrived. After Roxy made her entrance, and making sure everyone noticed her she turned to Whitney for the run-down of their day. Whitney basically told her that the bottom line was that it was hard-work and that is what Kelly liked to see. Just as Whitney finished, Kelly walked in and said that they would all be meeting at the photo shoot. Kelly’s client walked in with her and he said that he was slightly worried that the model was too skinny, so the girls would need to bring clamps to the shoot. Kelly said the girls could take her car to pick up the clothes, and she would have a driver take her and their client to meet them.
Back at Elle, Joe held a company-wide meeting about the magazines upcoming events. Most importantly they would have a small segment on another morning show. Erin had the idea about teaching the public the importance on real versus fake. People needed to realize that they were actually committing a crime when they were purchasing fake merchandise, such as bags, jewelry, clothes, etc. On the segment, they would have both real and fake merchandise. Olivia’s job was to head down to Canal Street and pick up as many fake items as possible.
Back at the photo shoot, Kelly and their client waited there for Roxy and Whitney to arrive. When they finally did, Kelly asked them for the clamps. The girls realized they had forgotten them which did not make Kelly happy at all. The model did not help the situation either, when the shoot began, Kelly realized she was the most lifeless model and was just not giving them what she needed to see. Roxy had an idea that since they were selling the jeans, to lose the model’s shirt. She ran the idea by Whitney, who appeared to like it, but warned her that Roxy should run it by Kelly before doing anything. Of course, Roxy did not take her advice and went straight to the client, who in the end loved it. But, Kelly, although admitted she loved the idea, warned Rosy she was to come to her with ideas before speaking to HER clients.
Meanwhile, on Canal Street, Olivia nervously shopped for as many great fakes as she could. When she returned to Elle with what she had purchased, Erin was disappointed. She loved the bags that she brought back, but that was about it. She felt that the task was incomplete. Olivia attempted to explain there was not a lot to choose from, but Erin did not want to hear it. As far as she saw, it was another job that Olivia did not finish. Joe walked in and instantly praised Olivia for her good finds and Olivia took that as her cue to leave. Once she left, Erin immediately complained to Joe about the job Olivia had done. Joe felt completely opposite and thought she did great with what she found.
The next morning at People’s Revolution, Whitney arrived at work before Roxy. When Roxy arrived she told Whitney she did not even hear her leave in the morning. With a quick response, she told Roxy she really liked to get into work, work hard, and get what she needs to get done. Roxy just rolled her eyes to the response. Kelly then walked in and first congratulated the girls for their work on the photo shoot, but the praising came to a halt there. Kelly let Roxy know that for now on when she has an idea, great or not, she comes to Kelly with it. Kelly said that she was the “mama wolf” of the company. It was her company!
