While Kristin and Stacie were taking full advantage of Kristin’s beachfront summer home, Kristin decided that it was time to get some use of her house and throw a party. When Kristin started talking about who she would invite, Stacie questioned her about Justin and his no-show to Brody’s party. She explained to Stacie it was basically ok now because he had made her dinner. Stacie told Kristin it sounded like Justin was making her work for him. Yet, Kristin saw it as Justin working for her, since he made her dinner. She still said he was on the ‘three-strike rule’ and he already has one strike for his no-show. The dinner did not erase his first strike and at this rate he may not even make it to the third.
After Brody got word of Kristin’s beach party, he took Jayde out to dinner. He toasted to Jayde thanking her for all her effort that she had put in for his surprise birthday party. She was so happy that he actually thanked her, but her happiness was crushed when Brody quickly switched the conversation to his plans for Kristin’s beach party. Jayde thought it would be stupid if they go because every time they are around Kristin they end up in a fight. Brody did not care; he said he was going to go anyways, because Kristin was one of his good friends.
Up in the hills of Hollywood, Heidi was once again babysitting Enzo despite all of Spencer’s efforts to not let it happen. Spencer wanted to know how often they would be babysitting, but Heidi swore that they just asked her that day. Spencer let it go, but brought up Kristin’s beach party. Heidi said she had heard about it and knew that Holly was going, but she was sure that Holly would not be drinking. Spencer told her not to be too sure about that because he knows she has continued to drink, even after they confronted her, but Heidi appeared to just ignore Spencer’s accusations.
It was party time and Kristin and Stacie began to get the house together when the first guests arrived, no other than Holly and Stephanie. And it looked like Spencer was right because immediately after they arrived, Holly mixed her first drink. Shortly after, the boys arrived and Holly took this opportunity to take shots with each of them. Brody showed up noticeably without Jayde. Kristin walked over and asked Brody if Jayde was going to be upset about him coming, but he told her to forget about it because they were friends and Jayde knows that. While they were talking Kristin received a text from Justin and it read, ‘sorry boo, strike 2, I’ll call you later.’ Kristin immediately says he’s done, but Brody comforted her and said don’t worry because he will give Justin a hard time for her. The party switched modes when Holly challenged everyone and anyone to a break-dance contest, yet she was the only one that ended up dancing. When Stephanie saw Holly dancing, Stephanie pulled her aside and said that she was getting out of control. Holly did not want to listen to her and said she was fine, she said she barely drank anything.
Surprise! Justin decided to actually show up. When he showed up Kristin was sitting with Brody, and she asked Brody why he would pull this, it was so stupid. Brody told her he would take care of it and question Justin for her. When Justin admitted what he did was his way of playing head games with her; Brody told him that Kristin does not like that kind of stuff. Justin said he cared too much about Kristin and what was going on between them. It was hard to take advice from Kristin’s ex. When that came up, Brody said they should go inside and just take shots. Just as the two boys were walking inside, Brody noticed that Jayde was already there with her friends. When Brody walked over to ask why she did not let him know she was there; Jayde just looked at him and said it looked like he was too busy spending time with Kristin.
Meanwhile, Justin went to talk to Kristin. She told him that she did not find his text message funny, at all! Justin thought that should not matter because what was important was that he showed up. She admitted that she was happy that he was there but she would never be able to know if he was joking or not because he has been so inconsistent thus far. It is so hard for her to trust him because she has heard so many things about his bad-boy personality from Brody and everyone else. When Kristin mentioned Brody; Justin said she should not trust her ex-boyfriend. It was obvious that she did not like that statement and reminded him that if he didn’t show up, they would be over.
While everyone was partying inside the house, Brody overheard Jayde crying and complaining to her friends about him. He questioned her about her complaining and she told him to stop yelling at her. He denied that he was yelling, but eventually Brody stormed out saying that he was done with Jayde.
Meanwhile, Lo and Audrina who obviously did not attend Kristin’s party met up and talked. Audrina told Lo about her meeting with Justin. Lo thinks Justin is not over her and she should be careful. He should not be reminiscing about their past or comparing Kristin on the back of his bike to Audrina.
The morning after the party, Kristin and Stacie recapped their evening. Stacie thought it was really weird that Justin sent her that text and then showed up. Somehow Kristin changed the conversation and said that she thinks that she and Brody may actually still like each other. She also admitted to having more fun with Brody than she did with Justin. Stacie thinks that Kristin is working too hard on her relationship with Justin. Kristin seemed to slightly agree and then pondered the idea of her and Brody actually dating, again.
At Heidi and Spencer’s house, Stephanie and Heidi sat down ready to confront Holly about her drinking, once again. When Holly arrived Heidi told her that she was really upset to hear that she was drinking at Kristin’s party, after Holly had said she would not drink anymore. Looking as if she was being attacked, Holly denied that she ever said she would quit. Holly said that she admitted to toning it down and that she has. Stephanie jumped in the conversation and said that she had a really great experience at rehab and maybe that was what Holly needed. Holly stormed out exclaiming that she did not need this from her little sister.
Brody was dealing with his own problems because he had to now confront Jayde after their fight from the night before and that was just what he was doing at his place. Unfortunately his way of confronting her was telling her that she was an embarrassment to him at the party. Jayde found his found his allegation ridiculous because she thought they were having a fight, yet again because Kristin was still interested in him. She then asked Brody if he still had feelings for Kristin. He responded to her question with an ‘I don’t know.’ That was enough for Jayde and she stormed out and said call her when he figures out who he likes.
