Not surprising due to the current state of the economy, Sirius XM will post another quarter in the red. It is estimated that the company is down around $157.3 million just this quarter. However, this is nothing new for Sirius XM, which has boasted negative numbers in numerous quarters throughout their shaky tenure. The number of subscribing members is also dropping rapidly, which could spell even more doom for the company.

On a good note though, some analysts believe that the launch of a new iPhone application and the “cash for clunkers” car-buying program may strongly improve sales over the next few months.

Only time will tell if Sirius XM will be able to sustain a profit in the next quarter.
