Oscar Mayer the hot dog legend, died Monday at the age of 95 in a hospice in Wisconsin.  Mayer, retired in 1977 just after his company hit the 1 billion dollar a year sale mark. Later, the company was sold to Kraft foods.

As sad as it is, we here in Hawaii can say "Aloha" to the Wienermobile, which arrived on July 1st and is scheduled to stay until the 19th.  You may see it traveling around the island as it hits many different locations. (See times and locations below.)

The Wienermoblie was created in 1936 as a marketing tool, and ran coast to coast until it was retired in 1970.  Then in 1986 on Oscar Mayer's 50th anniversary it began a second run and has been traveling the country ever since.

Check it out while its here!
