New York is likely to host to be one of the states to host an Inaugural ball after Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States on January 20th, 2009 an informed source in D.C. tells The Examiner. 

In response, New York State Democratic Committee spokesperson Carly Lindauer said:

We're working on our plans for Inauguration and we'll let everyone know as soon as we have more information.

I will post updates as soon as additional information becomes available.
