Civil liberties attorney Norman Siegel, a Democratic candidate for New York City Public Advocate appears to be a woman, at least on Facebook.
While doing research for another article I fell across the campaign's official "Norman Siegel, Make the People's Advocate THE PUBLIC ADVOCATE in 2009" politician page on Facebook, where I discovered that "Norman Siegel...updated her profile. She changed the following: Website and Relationship Status." Norman Siegel is and continues to be married and while I've never checked, to the best of my knowledge a man, despite what the campaign's page says:

FYI, Siegel was born well before 1966, that's about when he graduated law school and he lives in Manhattan.
So don't always believe everything you read on Facebook!
