Prominent civil liberties attorney Norman Siegel's campaign for Public Advocate can afford a Madison Avenue office, but apparently not computers.

In an E-mail sent out moments ago the campaign wrote:

As we ramp up for 2009, we will need to expand  and are asking for donations of a desk top computer and/or a laptop, preferably with XP OS.   Please call the office at 212-448-6271 if you have a suitable computer.
