Bill and Hillary Clinton
MICHAEL A. HARRIS/EXAMINER

Former President William Jefferson Clinton's refusal to disclose financial information regarding his philanthropic Clinton Global Initiative could cost his wife, New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D) an appointment as Secretary of State by President-elect Barack Obama, the New York Post reports

This comes on the heels of a news report last night by WNYW-TV (The New York City area's FOX affiliate) that Clinton is at the top of Obama's short list for the high-level cabinet post and a report today in a London tabloid that Clinton has accepted the position.

An Obama spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
