It's that time of year again: Fair Time! July is fair month throughout the surrounding Indianapolis counties. Throughout the month of July I will be giving a list of events for several surrounding counties including Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, and Boone counties. The upcoming dates include:

Hendricks County Fair: July 18-25, 2009. The list of events include a cheerleading contest, demolition contest, and a motocross race.

Marion County Fair: July 23-August 1, 2009. Events included are concerts, truck pulls, and a baby contest.

Johnson County Fair: July 19-25, 2009. There will be animal shows, a midway and a demolition derby.

Boone County Fair: July 24-30, 2009. At Boone County Fair there will be a demolition derby as well as several different Homemaker open show contests.

Included at each fair is also the County Fair Queen pagaent in which the crowned Queen will compete at the Indiana State Fair. Stay tuned to future articles as I will cover each fair individually to cover popular events.
