This Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 1pm to 4 pm, why not treat the family to a fun, safe, and family-friendly historical experience at History Park. At $2.00 per person or $5.00 for four, this is an inexpensive option for family fun. Please bring non-perishable food for the Second Harvest Food Bank.

This old fashioned Halloween Party offers:

• Trick or Treat at the Historic Houses in the Park
• Costume Parade and Contest
• Trolley Rides
• Wrap-a-Mummy contest
• Jack-o-Lantern Contest
• Halloween Story Time

Located at the south end of Kelley Park, at the corner of Senter Road and Phelan Avenue this beautiful park, with 27 original and replica homes, businesses and landmarks, highlights periods of Santa Clara Valley's past. Click on Directions.

Complete with paved streets, running trolleys and a cafe, this 14-acre site has the charm and ambiance of an old-time village. The exhibit galleries are located in the Pacific Hotel. Browse through the Museum Store for book by local authors and interesting gifts.

History Park is served by VTA bus routes 25 and 73. Riding VTA is quick, easy, stress-free and green. For trip planning assistance, visit www.vta.org and use VTA’s Trip Planner powered by Google. Or call (408) 321-2300.

If driving, City parking is available for $6 per vehicle.
