Lindsay Lohan angry at Michael Lohan for releasing personal recordings to Radar

Lindsay Lohan is not pleased with her father, Michael Lohan, and she has good reason for that anger. Michael released personal recordings of Lindsay that he taped during a phone conversation. These recordings landed on Radar, where people can listen to Lindsay sobbing hysterically over her relationship with Samantha Ronson. Michael insists he did this to force Lindsay into rehab and to show those who insist Lindsay is fine and sober that she is most definitely not. Move over, Mommy Dearest, here comes Daddy Dearest!
In an excerpt from the recording, Lindsay is heard saying, "Mommy says that I’m worse than you were. And she’s defending…She doesn’t back me…she doesn’t stand by me.” She also says, “No one cares about me. They don’t, by the way. It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been about me, unless I fight for it.”
To lash out at her father, Lindsay went on her Twitter account today to tweet the following: "My fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago. To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think. That he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he's needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN." For once, Lindsay is making sense!
Now reports are coming in that Lindsay is considering legal action against her father. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, says, "She is concerned about defamatory statements about her own personal safety and has instructed me to explore all legal options available to her to get him to stop and to leave her alone." It may be that the rumored restraining order Lindsay has contemplated will finally be filed.
It's understandable that a parent would want to help his child, especially if he considers that there substance abuse (a claim that is likely true). On the other hand, he doesn't need to resort to such vile tactics to get her attention. Michael is deliberately embarrassing and harrassing Lindsay and is engaging in a power struggle with his grown daughter. It makes him look controlling, not concerned.
Should be interesting to see how this ends up!
